Bad People Suck

Well, i thought i was the exception...."that kind of thing happens to other people." Being naive to think that being a victim of identity theft and someone stealing MY things just wouldn't happen to me. Well i was wrong, on the 12th, someone stole my baby bag with my wallet, checkbook, prescription medicines, kids' favorite toys, and much much more were taken right out of the front seat of my car in my parents driveway. We've had our share of fun in getting all our expenses, accounts, and stolen items put back into place. The yucky robber racked up 2000 dollars on my credit card within like 10 minutes of taking the things. :(

Well, it's just been a learning lesson for me...1) not to be so trusting, and 2) protect MY things a little better, shred important docs, and be careful with those numbers (accounts, etc). So i know this will be a long road, things will come up after i think that everything has been said and done. Thanks a lot thief guy...you made this just a WONDERFUL experience. I hope that you feel bad about what you did....Oh wait...i know you don't :(

Love to Explore

I love Sunday afternoons!! I love taking the kids and just going for an afternoon drive. It's been fun living in a new city, so i can go and explore so many new places! Today i took the kids, partly because i just needed to get out of the house, and i realized that as soon as i put the kiddos in the car, they would fall asleep...ahhhh!!! Then i can drive, think, and explore! So today i went driving down a pretty long street, that goes through almost 4 cities. I wanted to drive all the way to the end of it, and on the way i found BEAUTIFUL homes!! Gorgeous ones! As i drove by, i noticed myself daydreaming...what if?? hehe! It was fun to look at them at least! But i realized not only do i love looking at the homes, but the landscapes around them. They are always so beautiful. Afterward, i realized that the drive totally relaxed me, and gave me that extra "umph" to go about the rest of the day. I owe the time of driving around on Sunday afternoons to my mom and dad, who would take me when i was younger. We would always go and look in "model" homes, they'd always try to act so interested when i explained to them exactly what i would change in that one house, or what i so love about another one! Those were good times! So i guess i had a trip down memory lane while on this particular drive today! I love doing things with my children that my parents did with me. Such a happy feeling, and knowing the "memory" will live on!

I guess we've joined the band wagon!!

Well, i was looking at some friends' blogs and thought that maybe we should start one too. I was never sure about all the hype about blogging, but realized it's a great way to journal our little family fun and goings on!!! So here it goes!! We just recently moved to Sunnyvale, CA for Richards work as a new CHP officer!! He graduated from the academy in August and have had quite a few life changes since then!! including, our 2nd son, Jacob James was born August 8th. Then a few weeks later we moved here to Sunnyvale!! We like it so far, but feel strange that we don't have both our families around! But we're having a fun time, trying new places and visiting fun new spots!! Finally we feel like a family with the 4 of us!!
